About
Illustration, Textiles & Creative Tutoring
I’m an illustrator, textile artist and art tutor with over 20 years’ experience working with materials, drawing and design. After returning to study as a mature student, I graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) in Illustration from Norwich University of the Arts.
My practice blends textiles, drawing, print and making, creating work that is tactile, expressive and rooted in close observation.
Inspired by nature and everyday details, I’m particularly drawn to textiles and large-scale, three-dimensional work. Whether I’m stitching, sketching, printing or teaching, I enjoy exploring ideas through materials and sharing the creative process with others.
I have worked commercially for Virgin Wines, The National Trust, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Green Pebble Publishing and Holocaust Centre North.
Alongside my creative work, I run drawing courses for adults, creating a calm and supportive space to rebuild confidence and rediscover the pleasure of making.
Sessions are relaxed, friendly and non-judgemental, with a strong emphasis on enjoyment and play.
I live in Aylsham, a small market town in Norfolk with my daughter Hannah and dog Marvin.
