Service Description

Join me on Sunday 26 April from 10am–12pm for a relaxed morning drawing beautiful seasonal flowers at my home studio in Aylsham. Working from simple spring flower arrangements placed around the studio – including tulips, roses, chrysanthemums and fresh foliage – you’ll learn how to observe plant shapes, stems and movement and translate them into expressive drawings. The session begins with a short warm-up exercise designed to loosen up your drawing and encourage playful mark-making using a range of materials. I will guide you through simple techniques for sketching botanical subjects, helping you notice structure, texture and form in flowers and leaves. You’ll have time to develop your own drawings while receiving gentle guidance and encouragement throughout the workshop. Refreshments will be provided - please advise of any allergies before attending. Thank you. Participants are welcome to bring their own drawing materials. I will provide a selection of materials to use including pencils, pastel, paints and paper. This class is perfect for: • complete beginners • anyone who enjoys drawing nature • people looking for a relaxing creative experience No previous drawing experience is required — the focus is on enjoying the process and building confidence with drawing.
